Over 40 years working history, Alwadei Group principle activities are general civil engineering and marine construction such as quay walls, breakwaters, rubble mounds including all related works like reclamation, dredging works, rock removal sites of largest sizes for marine construction.

The project teams maintain a strong foundation of trust and mutual respect generated through positive relationships with clients, Consultants, Engineers, subcontractors and suppliers. Alwadei Group wide policy concentrates on encouraging shared performance responsibility that ensures the highest degree of professional services which resulted on all projects undertaken.

In the last 40 years as example of the contracting projects, Alwadei Group has been involved in the design and construction of seven harbors and marine structures all over the Republic of Yemen.

In these projects more than 10 Km Length of Breakwaters have been implemented with 6 million cubic meter of rocks of weight between 0.5 Kg to 20 tons. Alwadei Group is honored, qualified, and registered in the first class in the field of civil engineering and marine constructions in the Republic of Yemen.

With the extended experience and all needed qualifications in marine projects design and building, quarry work, available large-size of equipments, and expertise technical personnel, Alwadei Group can take contracts of the biggest projects in marine construction and results in a high quality and cost effective product.

On the other hand, Alwadei Group is recently involved in land investment projects. A number of residential projects in Al-Hodeida Governorate are undergoing. Alkatheeb Resort Lakes, 9 million square meters beach-front resort, is the crown of Alwadei Group investment projects. Started in May, 2006, the project is located in Alkatheeb area, 5 minutes from AL-Hodeida City.

AL-Katheeb Resort Lakes Project is considered Yemen’s first international tourist resort. Located along the Gulf of AL-Hudaydah on the red sea coast in Yemen, AL-Katheeb Resort Lakes extends along a 6 km multiple breathtaking bays of dazzling natural scenery.

The Resort’s planning philosophy emphasizes with attentiveness nature’s own gifts to this particular location. With only a 20% built area, the project consists of carefully located hotel complexes, housing compound, prime private villas and mansions, a golf course, parks and various, nautical sport facilities.
